We’re excited to welcome you to Rooted in Resilience: Strengthening Food Systems, Building Community Connections, the LA Food Equity Fund grantee convening!
Join us for a day of meaningful dialogue, networking, and collaboration with fellow food justice leaders. With 78 grantee organizations represented, this gathering is an opportunity to share insights, build connections, and strengthen LA’s food ecosystem. Enjoy a shared meal as we come together to advance a more sustainable and equitable food system.

What’s Provided:
Lunch: A delicious catered lunch will be served to keep you energized. Lunch is proudly provided in partnership with Casa Fina Restaurant and grantee partner Inclusive Action for the City, featuring local street vendors who reflect our community’s rich diversity.
Zero Food Waste Commitment: We’re aiming for a zero-food waste event! A compost bin will be available on-site to help reduce waste and support sustainable practices.

Dress for comfort! Portions of the event will take place both indoors and outdoors, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and bringing a hat or sunblock to stay protected while enjoying the outdoor areas. Weather is forecasted to be in the mid-80s, so dress
for warm weather.
Parking and Safety Reminder:
There is limited parking available in the Plaza de la Raza parking lot. Priority will be given to guests with ADA needs, elders, or those who require closer access to the entrance.
Plentiful street parking is also available around Lincoln Park. Please plan for extra walking time.
As a safety precaution, we kindly ask that you lock your vehicle and store valuables out of sight to ensure a worry-free experience.
